Help with picking paint colors?

I just bought a house and I went color crazy when it came time to paint. Every room has a different color. Now I am having a hard time picking a color for the staircase and hallway that will go well with the existing colors. The kitchen and living room are two shades of blue and then the staircase is till white. As you are walking up the stairs you see two rooms to the left, the hallway and two rooms to the right. The rooms to the right are the master bedroom which is a soft pink, a soft green and the trim is creme color, the office is brown and a dark pink almost burgundy. The rooms to the left are the guest bedroom which is purple and the spare bedroom which is not painted yet. I feel kind of lost choosing a complementary color for the hallway and the staircase so any help is greatly appreciated.Help with picking paint colors?
I think a warm neutral color is the way to go, maybe use wall paper to add some print and texture. If your not into wall papering, try blending some of the colors you have with paintings, sculptures or stencils. You need to pull the colors from the rooms into this space so that your space feels more organized. Your eyes should be able to drink in the colors in your view not bothered by them. Just remember to try to blend the personality's of the rooms a little bit. Have fun...Help with picking paint colors?
a neutral colour like a cream or light beige would be nice
lol coloure exsplosion in your house.....ok its your hall way and stairs and that area is usually dark so you want a light colour for the light to reflrct off!so im thinking a egg shell, cream or light yellow...though if you have kids!! lol there is always the risk with light coloures and there mucky hands (actully im just as bad) either way keep it light but not to ummm shocking!! good luck!
light chocolate color.
Wow -- you're not going to like what I'm going to say! But, here goes. You probably will need to repaint some of your rooms so that there is a common colour within the house. This is not to say that the entire house must be blue or must be brown. However, you want to house to FLOW from room to room. Right now, it seems very choppy -- and it'll be even choppier when you add the next colour to finish the stairs and hallway. You should rely on accent pieces to bring colour into your house. Trust me. This is my job. Good luck!!!
