How do u choose Paint colors for your home?

At any paint store or home improvement store, you can get brochures from paint companies that show pictures of homes with various color combinations, both interior and exterior. They then show what the exact colors are (by name and catalog number), so you can pick the exact combination. You can also look through architectural design or home design magazines (like Better Homes and Gardens) to see photos of various home decors.

When you get an idea of the colors you want, you can get these little card at the paint store that have color samples on them. These are called paint chips. You can get a bunch of these in the approximate colors you're considering, and mix and match them to get the exact paint colors and combinations you want. How do u choose Paint colors for your home?
You might want to try Behr.com. They have a application online where you can simulate a room, or even upload pictures of the room you want to change and you can see what the colors would look like in them before you even hit the store. You can change the colors and mix and match. Then when you figure it out, you can print the color swatches from your computer and take them down to Home Depot and have your paint made up and then be ready to rock. Good luck!!
