When I Paste Some Pictures From MS Word To MS Paint the colors are messed up?

The colors are completely normal in Word but when i paste it into paint the colors get like blotchy? I don't know how else to describe it, but they don't look right. Does anyone know how to fix it?When I Paste Some Pictures From MS Word To MS Paint the colors are messed up?
I know exactly what you're talking about.

I've done a lot of copying and pasting pictures from Word to Paint. Much of the time I don't have a problem, but sometimes I do have the same problem you've described.

Depending on where you've originally obtained your pictures, many websites make it difficult to copy and paste pictures due to copyright protection.

A few other things could be playing into this:

- Your monitor settings are low or the monitor is not high quality.

- In Paint, you need to save the picture either as a jpg/jpeg, bmp, or some other format

- Adding to the above mention of saving in Paint, you may need to save it as a lower bit color 24, 264 and color or black/white.

One way to try getting around this is rather than selecting and copying/pasting your pic into Paint, try treating it as a character, highlighting it like it's text then do a copy/paste as if it's text.

To do this, you need the little solid black squares as it's corner points (not the open circles). If you see open circles rather than the solid black squares, double-click on the picture to go into picture formatting menu and select the LAYOUT tab then select IN LINE WITH TEXT.

Then click OK and go back to your picture, highlight it then copy/paste into Paint.

I just did this myself.

Then save it as what ever file type you can save it as.

Good luck!!When I Paste Some Pictures From MS Word To MS Paint the colors are messed up?
You shouldn't copy and paste them from word. Instead if you go to the source of the picture and right click on the picture it should give you an option to open the picture into paint. From there you will probably want to resize the picture. That option can be found in the edit option at the top of the program!
