Would Schutt and Riddell helmet paint colors be the same?

I am thinking about buying a Riddell helmet and my team has mostly schutt helmets. I know the schutt helmets are south bend gold. I was wondering if riddell's south bend gold would be the same as schutt's.Would Schutt and Riddell helmet paint colors be the same?
I don't know, I don't ride motor bikes.

Well, first off.. guy's in the right section. He's not talking about motorcycles, he's talking about football's two primary manufacturers of helmets. Maybe you should go riding a motorcycle with a football helmet some time.





To answer the question. The golds will be nearly identical. The color is actually the gold color from the Notre Dame helmet but the companies are not allowed to use that name for the color. It's a very common helmet color so the new helmet should be nearly indistinguishable from the older helmets.





It won't be perfect, however, so you may want to find out if you'll need to have custom painting done to the helmet. Both Schutt and Riddell can color match to any helmet.
